As we celebrate the final days of Black History Month, I want to take a moment to say thank you and give back to each and every one of y’all for supporting my Black Woman-Owned business!!.
At a time when numerous Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives are under attack and many companies are backpedaling on their commitments to racial equality, your support means the world to me!. Our journey has been shaped by the love and trust of our community over the last 5 years, and we believe in giving back in the most special of ways 💞
We Want To Honor You For Holding Us Down
When companies step away from such inclusive frameworks, it directly impacts the visibility, opportunities, and sales of minority-owned brands. It creates fewer spaces for Black women entrepreneurs like me to feel seen, valued, and included. But one thing about your Coochie Cousins is — we’re not built to crumble 💪🏾💅🏾
My battle with bacterial vaginosis (BV) led me to create a global brand that has built a safe and inclusive space for women of all backgrounds to have respectful conversations about their feminine health, without shame. In fact, at V Vitamins, we're a multicultural company of over 20+ employees from a diverse background of countries and cultures 🌏.
I personally have experienced the venom of being excluded, judged, and denied opportunities simply because of my skin tone. Which is why I consciously work daily to create safe spaces for Black women and all women of color to be vulnerable, share their experiences, ask questions, and receive the support for their feminine wellness they deserve without discrimination 💗
Thank you for continuously supporting my business, not just during Black History Month, but every day. Every time you purchase, recommend, refer, repost, or engage with us, you’re pushing back against the systems that were never built for Black-owned businesses like ours. Your support helps us continue to lead conversations around women’s health, Black entrepreneurship, and inclusive feminine care worldwide 🌍
